Hello, my name is Lydia and I am 27 years old. I have a keen interest in travel, beauty and Fashion.
Why did you decide to do the course?
I wanted to develop my customer service skills as I am self employed and businesses that I work for prefer to high people with recognised qualifications. I felt it would provide me with the perfect training to make me more employable in a competitive job market.
What did the course involve?
The course involved me learning about all aspects of customer service and its application to the workplace.
What have you gained from undertaking the course?
I have gained a great understanding of customer service and its importance in almost everything we do. I now look at things from a different perspective and look the implications of my actions.
What impact has the course made to your life?
The course was great, it has enabled me to find more work so I now have a higher and more regular income. The course also provided the opportunity for me to travel abroad as part of the Turing Scheme. I went to Thailand in April 2023 with JIF training and as part of a group of learners. It was a fantastic experience, the work placement employers were very approachable and it has provided me with memories that I will never forget.
How did JIF Training support you during your programme?
JIF Training were very supportive. My tutor Aleks was helpful and she supported me on a one to one basis as well as part of a group. On the work placement Lewis continually made sure that we all felt safe as Thailand was an unfamiliar country and he as well as the local companies mate for an unforgettable experience.
How would you rate JIF Training?
Fantastic, excellent, life changing and awesome. I have a lot of praise for JIF Training they went above my expectations.
What are your plans now after completing the course?
My plans now are to continue my development and ensure I have lots of upcoming work. I have discussed further progression opportunities with JIF Training such as doing my functional skills with them also.
