Tell us about yourself

I always enjoyed learning and I was excited by the opportunity to complete my Functional Skills in Maths and Customer Service level 1.

Why did you decide to do the course?

Beside improving my chances on getting a better job, it gave me a great opportunity to better myself.

What did the course involve?

Maths – getting the GSCE equivalent level and Customer service is all about providing excellent customer care.

What have you gained from undertaking the course?

I have not just improved my skills but refreshed the knowledge on the ones I have already forgotten.

What impact has the course made to your life?

Made me feel more confident and prouder of my achievements.

How did JIF Training support you during your programme?

Everyone has been absolutely amazing. The level of support was up and above of what I have expected. I was able to contact my tutors via phone, email and attend the class when needed to access all the relevant study materials. Alice and Aleksandra are very supportive, understanding, nice to talk to. They were both very encouraging and answered all my questions. I felt fully supported in my studies. I can’t thank them enough.

What are your plans now after completing the course?

I am hoping to enrol for more training in English to obtain a Functional Skills qualification for this subject.
